Maybe "just" a thank You, but a lot was contained in it. Not a "Thanks... here's hoping You send me a miracle, or this could get pretty frustrating." (Isn't that how we pray sometimes?) No, I'm pretty sure implicit in Jesus' "thank You" was a great big "Father, You're My Hero!"
"You're my Hero!" =
- I can't -- You can. And You will!
- However You choose to do this will totally rock! (Heroes always know what to do.)
- I can't wait to see what You do!
- You're the Hero here, so all the praise will go to You!
I've started incorporating this into my prayer life. :)
Thank You, Father -- You're my Hero!!!
In Jesus' beautiful Name, amen.
