These are two different questions. YES, I should trust Him. Or as He said to me bluntly yesterday morning, "You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us" (Psalm 115:11-12a).
But does He always make the impossible possible? That depends. Sometimes He does, when the outcome we're looking for is exactly the outcome He's looking for. But sometimes He doesn't, when not finding our way to "possible" is the best way for us to arrive at His perfect agenda.
I have no idea how this week is going to play out. But I do know He is the Lord, and whatever nets He asks me to cast out, I will cast out. Whatever nets He allows me to remain entangled in, I will remain entangled in, and I will nevertheless praise Him.
Yet I do have this prayer: Beloved Father, perfect Savior, I have worked hard all night, all week, and have caught nothing. Please remember me here in this empty boat. I am in need of You.
"You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.
The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us."
