This sermon is part 4 in a 5-part series. Christopher Ash makes the startling assertion that (from a human perspective), Jesus' time of ministry on earth was a "failure" -- not all that many believed in Him, and during the disciples' three years with Jesus, they had seen God the Father daily revealed through His Son, but they were still not grasping this fully, even at the end. It takes the ministry of the Holy Spirit for the rest of the story to unfold: the Spirit of God, sent to indwell believers in Jesus Christ, leading us into all truth, and convicting people of sin and of their need for Jesus. I especially appreciate the speaker's directness and concern here about some of the misunderstandings and misrepresentations about the Holy Spirit and about Jesus.
