In some of the Psalms there are literally lists upon lists describing the Lord and His goodness. Here are a few that stand out to me from Psalms 145 to 147. Food for thought; food for hope; food for worship.
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
The Lord is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.
(145:8-9)
The Lord sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down.
(145:14)
The Lord is righteous in all His ways
And kind in all His deeds.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.
The Lord keeps all who love Him[.]
(145:17-20a)
The Lord sets the prisoners free.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous;
The Lord protects the strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
(146:7c-9)
The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
(147:2-3)
The Lord supports the afflicted;
He brings down the wicked to the ground.
(147:6)
The Lord favors those who fear Him,
Those who wait for His lovingkindness.
(147:11)
